Event Marketing and Audience Engagement Manager
The Event Marketing and Audience Engagement Manager is a key position in the Membership and Marketing Department supporting the strategy, operations and marketing of Chicago Public Media events and audience engagement efforts. As the lead events marketing strategist, this position will play a hands-on role in executing all aspects of WBEZ’s event marketing campaigns – from developing marketing creative and writing creative briefs, to providing creative feedback and launching and measuring event marketing outcomes. This position works closely with departments across the organization to develop engaged audiences for our live events portfolio and to create compelling marketing materials consistent with Chicago Public Media’s mission. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the nuances of social media as well as traditional marketing strategies to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience for WBEZ listeners and members. This person will also project manage workflows, develop creative and marketing plans, track event audience engagement metrics to achieve event goals and objectives.

This person will be responsible for the creation and execution of all sales presentation materials and for the coordination of various activities within Corporate Partnerships, such as advertising tracking, partnership recaps, and assistance with updating sourcing lists for prospective clients.
